WHAT DOES THE TREATMENT INVOLVE?

A consult to discuss your symptoms and problems and posture assessment. Then laying face down on a comfortable treatment table or in a position that you are most relaxed in, light finger pressure is applied in sequence to activate the neural transmission points (NTPs) about the pelvis, spine and shoulders. You may feel muscle movement, heat at the points or tingling in extremeties or nothing at all but the points are activating. The stimulation stays active for around two days.

A hot shower taken before bed the day of the treatment will alleviate any soreness or stiffness experienced. Aches or stiffness that may be felt after treatment due to your muscles working differently than before, like going out to do the first training in football for the season, you would feel a bit stiff and sore as your muscles have not worked that way for a while and when they strengthen in that action they will settle.

A practitioner acts as a catalyst in the alignment process using the Ostealign system. It uses the Central Nervous System which includes the brain and spinal cord that sends messages to and from the Peripheral Nervous System - a neurological feedback loop. This non-forceful action adjusts the tensions in your muscles and tendons and therefore move your bones into the best alignment for that muscle and skeletal system. It all starts with a maximum 40 minute consult and treatment.
